one day i called in sick, i was not sick at all. instead of going to work i went to a football match. now this is bad in any occupation really, essentially its lieing, but i felt particulary bad because of working in a carehome- people would perhaps suffer due to me. obviously i didnt feel that bad to not do it, afterall i do love my football. is this really that bad though? when im at work i slog my socks off and football is the only thing i like to do. i gave a list of fixtures to my manager, who told me that she sould work the rota around those. she did not do this. n one wuld sawp a shift with me so what other choice did i have? ok so i could not have gone.... but she shouldnt have promised me that i could go and then i would not have braught the ticket got my hopes up and planned to go. it was an amazing match! if i had of missed it i would have been so gutted- ill make up for it at work today hahaha . encase any of you have a great football match to go to, heres some tips for calling in sick:
